This project for the retailing of luxury chocolate elaborates an environment that elevates the sensory awareness of the customer to be. While the merchandise chocolate awakens the senses of smell, taste, and sight, the interior skin designed for the store appeals to the senses of sight and touch. It does so by combining an intricate pattern, a material, and a fabrication technique. The effect produced by this inner skin causes surprise and curiosity when one crosses sight with it and accompanies the shopping experience while inside it. The articulation of the skin responds specifically to the merchandising strategies of the retailer while creating a significant spatial experience.
