This project for a component-based system of pedestrian bridges is being developed to another level of sophistication under the guidance of Gehry Technologies, in the context of the “What’s your problem” competition organized by GT Studio. Knowledge patterns (computing cycles that combine computing routines and geometric specificity) are being deployed in order to increase or decrease the granularity in either direction, thus truly achieving the flexibility needed for an optimal bridge configuration at any given span.
